Sloths are picky eaters. They only eat the leaves their mothers eat . Sloths are herbivores. They eat buds, leaves, and young twigs, but sometimes Sloths will eat fruit. To help them chew leaves, they have peg like teeth. Sloths eat upside down and it takes them two weeks to digest one meal. They eat as slowly as they move;therefor Sloths are the slowest eating mammal. To hide from being eaten by their predators; Eagles, snakes,and Jaguars, a Sloths’ fur blends in with the trees.
